Registry error, domain's nameservers not updated [Object status prohibits operation]

If you are trying to update your nameservers (or make any other changes to youd domain registration details and you get the error:

Registry error, domain's nameservers not updated [Object status prohibits operation]

it simply means that your domain is locked and that you must unlock it before you can make changes.

Click on the Wrench symbol beside the domain name that you want to edit.  On the next screen, click the link under the "What would you like to do today?" heading that reads "Change the registrar lock status for your domain."  This will unlock your domain name.

In general, any time you want to edit domain registration data you need to:

1. Unlock your domain in the control panel.
2. Make your changes.
3. Lock the domain again after making your changes to prevent accidental edits.
