Adding another domain to your Webquarry hosting account.

If you have a Webquarry.com hosting account that has space available for more domains to be added to it, here are the steps that you need to follow.

  1. Determine what name servers are authoritative for your hosting account.  Look at one of your existing domains and see what name servers it uses.  You will need to use those name servers for your new domain name.
  2. Purchase your new domain.  Whether you purchase your domain here at Webquarry or from some other registrar, at some point in the purchase process, you will be asked what name servers you want to use.  Use the name servers you have found in step 1 above.
  3. Go to your hosting control panel and add the new domain is the "Domain Setup" area of the control panel.  This will add the domain to the web server.  When you ftp into the server, look in the "domains" folder and you will see a new folder there for your new domain.  Inside that folder, there will be a new, empty public_html folder for you to put your new website files in.
