An idiot and a joker have commented about the death of a goon in a bomb explosion a few days ago. They claim that the death could have been avoided if the checkpoints to progress that were supposedly removed by order of the supreme court had been kept in place.

The joker and the idiot are both blind. The checkpoints were never removed, they were merely scaled down. That is to say, they moved from blocking half the road to blocking of quarter of the road. Policemen and soldiers manning these checkpoints never stopped carrying out the thorough checks they always did. That is they checked everyone's ID but didn't bother to check the boot for any bombs.

No wonder the police chief himself once said that the checkpoints were not effective. No wonder that the man has said today that the "Police did not have an organized strategy to counter terrorist plans of carnage". No wonder that this is a failed state.
