Sri Lanka It's Happening

For a change there wasn't an explosion in Colombo or any of the suburbs. Nevertheless there was a bomb scare. A loud explosion was heard close to Rajagiriya. Later on the security estbalishment explained it away by saying it was the sound of a Cannon at a passing out parade. Unfortunately the army forgot to tell the cops about it. As a result the idiots had closed off the roads leading through Rajagiriya for nearly an hour.

It's just another day in Colombo.
