The reason for Dialog's poor performance.

Once upon a long ago Dialog Telekom was a customer oriented company. And that was reflected by the bottom line. Year after year they managed to show at least 40% growth in profits.

Recently Dialog shot itself on it's right foot. Dialog service now is worse than what you could get from Sri Lanka Telecom when it was s state owned monopoly. Now they are struggling to grow at all. They have effectively shot themselves in the other foot.

The last few quarters has been pathetic with profit now growing at only about 5% per annum. It will not be long before they start dipping. When that happens Dr Hans and the shareholders can put quite a bit of the blam on Dialog Broadband.

The staff at dialog broadband rarely reply to email (maybe they want faxes instead ) and when you call them up for information they promise to send it to you through email. That of course never happens.
