The scarcity of milk powder in the market has finally ended but only because the price has being raised by nearly 30%

Sri Lanka produces the best tea in the world but most Sri Lankans only get to drink the low grade stuff that cannot be exported. That tea is usually drunk with milk. Milk of of being powdered milk rather than fresh milk.

A cup of tea with milk and sugar is invigorating and can keep you going for a while. In fact a single slice of bread dunked in a cup of tea is the only dinner for too many poor people. This present regime has more than doubled the price of milk powder and raised the price of bread three fold.

It's not the government's doing you say? well that certainly isn't what this bunch of crooked ministers were saying when they were in the opposition.
