Sri Lanka It's Happening

It's been an unimaginably hectic few weeks for me. That's why there are precious few posts in this blog in recent times. My other blog has suffered even more. There hasn't been a post since the 29th of August.

A great deal of time has been taken up with house building work. Then I decided to read for an MBA (finally). That meant running around and browsing looking for prospective university and filling out applications. In the end I applied for Edith Cowan University and University of Southern Queensland. Both universities are in Australia but lectures will be held in Colombo by their agents.

In the midst of all this , we celebrated our wedding anniversary on the 23rd of August. The same day we had to attend a wedding of an old friend. Then on the 24th my sister celebrated her wedding anniversary and that was followed by my parents' anniversary on the 25th!

And then we came to September. The month of the literary festival. There is plenty to write about that and deserves a few posts of it's own.
