The former president Chandrika Kumarathunga is returning to politics to help save democracy is Sri Lanka. You would think it's a joke sadly it isn't. Chandrika has done more to establish a dictatorship in Sri Lanka than any other politician in recent history.

It was chandrika who tried to change the constitution without the required 2/3 majority in parliament. That was after dismissing a democratically elected government four years ahead of schedule. This was the same person that tried to stay on as president well past the date on which her term ends. The list goes on and on...

Many people will justify CBK's return saying Mahinda is set to outdo her. People are even saying Mahinda has already out done her! One thing for sure, Mahinda certainly doesn't have a mandate to govern. CBK won the presidential election by a landslide. Mahinda won only because of a secret deal with the LTTE or so says Mangala , the man who managed Mahinda's campaign.

CBK is returning to the country at the specific invitation of Mangala. Many say Mangala made the inviation at CBK's request. And who is CBK partnering with in this campaign? Why the shameless and spineless UNP of course.
