Night without end
July 14, 2007
Most people are always complainging about the poor fair on Television but they will rant and rave if you try to tear them away from it. I am some what like that when it comes to bad books; at least that's the only explaination that I can give for reading 'Night Without End' by Alistair Mclean from cover to cover.
The book starts of reasonably well, there is a plane crash in the arctic circle close to a weather station, the story is about how the scientists there try to rescue the passengers and take them to safety.
it is apparent after a few chapters that this is a whodunnit and the story absolutely collapses during the last few chapters. The plane crash was no accident, it was made to happen cause it was carrying an ultra secret peace of military hardware. Sheeze give me a break, which idiotic army carries those things on Civilian aircrafts? That's not the worst of it, this idiotic army had previously try to transport the same thing on a civilian train!
