You need to be pretty stupid to turn your back on the peace process and start a war that you can't win. Well that's what both Prabakaran and Mahinda have both done.

It's bad enough that soldiers should die on the front lines because of the stupidity of their government (headed by the same same mahinda). But even the war mongering JVP will find it hard to accept when soldier should die at a railway crossing because of the stupidity of the transport minister.

Yesterday five people, soliders and policemen had died when their pickup had been hit by a train at an unprotected railway crossing. In any other country in the world the transport minister would immidiately resign. But this is the third or fourth time that something like this has happened during the past couple of years and you can rest assured that the minister travelling in this BMW 750 will not resign.
