The Ceylon Electricity Board is one of the most corrupt organizations in the country but what about the Lanka Electricity Company (LECO)? hang on a second what is the LECO? They are supposed to be the company in charge of electricity distribution.

We had doubts about our electricity meter and called them in. Instead of just replacing the meter they put in another one in parralell to it and let both of them run for a month to compare reading.

The LECO crew, that replaced the meter drove up in a large truck. The installation itself seemed to be a simple enough task but it takes four men to do it. Two to sit on a bench and watch. Third to give gave verbal encouragment, the fourth one for the actual installation. There was a fifth, the driver who took more interest in my car than in the proceedings.
