Musical Chairs

For many weeks, the Indian Oil Company didn't sell petrol. They had no money to buy stocks. Why? the government didn't pay them the subsidies that were promised to them long ago. Now the Ceylon Petrolium Corporation is not selling petrol or diesel.

Mahinda waited until the event had blown up to become a diplomatic row before giving it. During the process LIOC nearly went bankrupt, millions of people were inconvinienced and Indian government managed to score a few advantages which they will no doubt use at a future date to arm twist the SL government. It's numerous mindless acts by mindless Sri Lankan politicians that has allowed the Indian High Commissioner in Sri Lankan to become the de facto ruler of the country.

The petrolum corp, is one of the most corrupt and inefficient organizations in the country, is on strike. The strike at the port came to end just a couple of days ago. Mahinda is after all the darline of the trade unions.

Why is the CPC on strike? the workers apparently don't want the new chairman. Who can't blame them? Can you expect the chairman of cricket selectors to work as the chairman of the petrolium corporation?
