Finest Ceylon Tea in Bangkok.

April 10, 2006

After the tiring day it was time for a cuppa. Unfortunately it doesn't seem like Thai people enjoy their cuppa. They seem to prefer coffee. At any rate that's what you find in most wayside cafe's.

The Bangkok Palace coffee shop did have tea on their menu. They even had an item labeled Finest Ceylon Tea. Obviously that's what we were ordered but we were very disapointed.

What's labelled Finest Ceylon Tea certainly wasn't the finest. Either that or the staff at the coffee shop didn't know how to make a good cup of tea. I think it's a combination of both. It tasted horrible. We decided to stick to Nescafe from then on.

For dinner everyone decided to go for a walk and dine at a road side cafe (which seems the in thing to do when in Thailand). My wife and baby weren't upto it so they stayed back and had a room service dinner.
