The international media and the independent media in Sri Lanka (which according to the government is fully controlled by the UNP) has been telling us that peace talks have been held in Geneva and the Ceasefire agreement has not been amended. This is just a concerted campaign an international conspiracy to discredit the nationalist government.

The peace talks were actually held in an Estate Bungalow in Nuwara Eliya cleverly disguised to look like a chataue. How can you expect the peace talks to have been held anywhere outside Sri Lanka, Mahinda and his bandwagon promised not to do that.

The LTTE has agreed to amend the CFA. The governemnt threated to tear it up if the LTTE didn't agree to the amendments. The LTTE being very scared of the cardboard heroes of the JVP and the JHU promptly agreed.

The government has not agreed to disarm the paramilitary groups. That is a blatant lie put out by the Same news sources that labels Mahinda as an extremists.

The Salmon eating busybodies (norwegians) are not the facilitators. They were there just for appearence sake. The actual faciliator was Douglas Devananda of the EPDP.
