Gathering of Evil and Religon

September 16, 2005

The faithfull believe that religious icons will ward off evil. Today there is a gathering of Evil under the banner of extremism and it's epicenter is Buddhism's holiest shrine; the Temple of the tooth.

What does a true believer of Lord Buddha's teachings do when the monks who should preach tolerance are egging the country towards war?

What does one do when the country's Prime Minister is a diabolical liar whose only deed of note is to deny a square meal to hundreds of thousands of tsunami refugees by his actions? What does one do when this same prime minister is joining forces with a bunch of marxists and ayatollahs to forge alliances that will result in bloodshed?

Look in a white knight? unfortunately the pretender in the rusty armoured suite of a Knight cares not about the these issues. In fact he is totally oblivious to these fact.

What does one do when the leader of the opposition and the rival to the PM at the presidential sweepstakes lives with his head in the clouds firmly believing that evil does not exist?
