Sri Lanka It's Happening

The LTTE which entered into ceasefire agreement with the government of Sri Lankan around 3 years ago have been responsible for thousands for ceasefire violoations including killings.

They have killed off hundreds of informants, dozens of soldiers and officers and even the head of military intelligence during this ceasefire period. No one sheds a tear for them. Everyone including the so called Sri Lanka Monitoring Mission headed by Norway has been deathly silent about these killing. According to the SLMM's own reports the number of violations of by the LTTE is far far in excess of those by the government.

Recently however a splinter of group of the LTTE the so called Karuna faction is taking a toll on LTTE cardes. Now the LTTE is crying foul and blue murder and putting the blame on the government. The government for it's part has not made any attempt to stop these killings either. As they rightly point out it's an internal affair for the LTTE to sort out.

But the LTTE, like the big bully who hurts other kids but goes running to his mum or teacher when a someone else picks on him, is bawling their eyes out. In the meantime they are carrying out sparodic attacks against isolated army sentry posts and about ten soldier and sailors have been killed during this month alone.

As long as Kofee Anan continues to express dismay when a terrorist dies they will continue their attacks in Sri Lanka. As long as Tony Blair condemns terrorists with this right hand and provide them shelter with his left hand terrorist attacks will continue in other parts of the world as well. The LTTE has it's head office in London.
