Since the day the ceasefire was signed the LTTE has been killing informants and millitary intelligence officers. Last evening they have brutally killed the head of military intelligence.

The LTTE propaganda machine is clinically efficient when it comes to highlighting minor ceasefire violations by the government forces. When violations are hard to come by they fabricate them. The government propaganda machine is very efficient when it comes to highlighting the shortcomings of the democratic opposition. When the short comings are hard to come by, they are fabricated.

The LTTE propagandist are so efficient that when a high ranking LTTE officer was killed the head of the UN condemned it. That is right the UN secratary general was dismayed by the killing of a terrorist. Now we know why the US does not get on too well with the UN. Can we expect a condemnation of this army officer's killing? your guess is as good as mine.
