Sri Lanka It's Happening

We ordinary people of Sri Lanka thank the people of israel for their generousity in sending relief supplies to our country that has been badly effected by the tsunami.

We also appologise for the rudeness of our self minded politicians. Their words and deeds do not reflects the opinions of the people. The reason that the sri lankan government suggested that the israeli soldiers should not accompany the cargo is all too obvious; The politicians are concerned about losing a few votes from among the minority moslem community.

as once journalist commented you should not look a gift horse in the mouth especially if that horse is going to save a few lives.

As sri lankan politicians have shown time and time again they have absolutely no interest in the well being of the people.
