A bill to take away your rights

July 21, 2004

It's official the much talked about bill to take away one of your fundamental rights is now before parliament. The 'anti conversion bill' as it is known as been presented in parliament by an ayatollah in yellow robes.

It is nothing less than an attempt to take away your right to choose your own religion. That's right here after if you are born a buddist you must die a buddhist or goto jail. That's not all if a non buddhist were to tell a buddhist that christianity, islam, hindu or tree worshiping is the better religion he get's thrown into jail as well.

As things stand this bill will be approved. That is because the UPFA despite their poor arithmatic and bluster has not been able to show their majority in parliament. It seems likely that the UPFA will support this bill.

They hope that the monks will then forgive and forget all the mud that has been slung at them by the state media mafia. The monks may also forget that one of them members recieved a kick in his own member. The end result will be that the UPFA will recieve the support of the monks. Thus after a lapse of four months the government will finally be able to muster a working majority in parliament.

For the benefit of 107 MPs the whole country must sacrifice their fundamental rights.
