On March 14th, I wrote that the tourism boom continues but since then things have changed, mostly because of the aftermath of the election and yesterday's bomb can only make things worse.

On march 13th, I quoted the daily mirror headline, which said "Anura Talking Rubbish" - a statement attributed to the president. The Anura in question is her brother. After the election the very same brother was appointed the minister in charge of tourism is it any suprise that tourist arrival figures have been in decline since april?
