Double Bull is the name of a drink. There is also a brand of shirts by the same name. However the phrase is most suitable for the drama that's been enacted over the state media mafia as well as independent TV channels.

First there was a lady making certain allegations against the leader of the Muslim Congress. This was shown on state tv. The fact that the 'confesson' was carefully stage managed was as obvious as a streaker at cricket match.

The next day one of the private media channels carried another interview with the lady who claimed that all of the previous days allegations were 'coerced' out of her. What was equally obvious was that the second interview was another stage managed affair.

Interestingly the lady in question had made her own video tape to prove her innocence. This tape was apparently made with a camera hidden inside an air conditioning vent. That's probably why there appeared to be a grill that obstructed the view. What's not so apparently was how come light was falling on this grill on the side closer to the lense. May be AC vents in some hotels are lit up

So where is the truth? sadly we may never no because Sri Lankan scandals are usually forgotten after a few days and no one in authority bothers to unearth the truth.
