Nearly two weeks after sending my first complaint to mobitel about their poor service they have finally managed to activate my GPRS connection. MMS is still a big no no.

Well in theory my account has all the facilities and my phone is correctly configured - since thery did it themselves. Unfortunately many of the staff at mobitel cannot tell a mobile phone from a hole in the ground.

I wouldn't bother with this but i have already spent the money on the connection etc etc and don't want it to go waste.

If you are thinking of getting a mobile phone go with dialog (like nearly everyone else). About time they started to implement a truth in advertising law in sri lanka.
