Sri Lanka It's Happening

The official record will say that the Sri Lankan Cricket team today managed to beat the Zimbabwe national team. What really happened was that the Sri Lankans beat the Zimbabwe under 24 team, suprisingly this team in which no one was 24 years old seems as good as the old team. Debate still rages whether the old team was sacked or resigned.

The Sri Lankan cricket selectors should definitely resign. They are still playing the same old same old (very old) players who occaisionaly hit a few runs when the public starts calling for their heads. In the mean time young players are kept waiting (untill they are old enough?) to enter the team.

Here was a very good opportunity to try some new players in the side. Though todays zim, team had five or six debutants Sri Lanka had none.
