Sri Lanka It's Happening

If Sri Lankan politians are concerned about the UPFA's intention of changing the constitution with out the required two thirds majority it's conspicous by it's absence.

Apparently very few politians really care about democracy; after all contesting an election is a costly affair. One gets the feeling that they would much rather have a dictatorship as long as the dictator ruling the country is a member of their own party.
