This web log has been highligting the extremely negative tactics of the Sri Lankan cricket teams captain over the last couple of weeks. Despite his short comings he is a honourable man and has tendered his resignation.

The same cannot unfortunately be said about the selectors. For decades there have been accusations of favouritism and not giving opportunities to good players simply because they don't have the right connections.

It's now time for the entire selection comitee to resign for they are more responsible than the team itself for the first 3-0 home defeat by the team in 22 years of cricket.
