Sri Lanka It's Happening

Lanka Internet was the first company to function as an ISP commercialy in Sri Lanka. That was around eight years ago. They also happened to be the first company to offer web design and hosting services. Their prices for all three were unbelievably high at the time.

They have apparently been responsible for the Sri Lanka department of elections website. And guess why they have used blinking text right there on the home page. From which jungle in sri lanka did they unearth their web designer?

Foot Notes:
1) There's very little forest cover left in this country.
2) This current (2004) election may be the last democratic election to be held in this country because on of the parties have threatened to change the constitution unconstitutionaly. If that happens the elections website will surely be closed down along with the department.
