There is an old (American?) joke about a priest and the elections

A priest after finishing his sermon addressed his parish and said "As your priest I cannot tell you how to vote but I can remind you that next friday is relection day".

This is how a buddhist priest in Sri Lanka might end is sermon
"Vote for me at next the election next friday"
