It is refreshing to see that people of the caliber of Ranjan Ramanayake still walk this land of spineless people.

According to statement made by this popular actor, a group of artists were invited to a tea party at the presidents house. As often happens in this country the tea party was then converted into a political meeting which the actor did not appreciate.

Taking the microphone into his hands he entered the stage and made his displeasure known in no uncertain terms. He drew attention to the fact that several key politians in the presidents party have loads of accusations of corruption leveled against them. Just to make sure that there wouldn't be any accusations of political bias he blasted politians of other parties as well.

The next day at an interview on a private tv channel the actor lamented the fact that none of the television stations that filmed his brief announcement had the courage to telecast it.

Hats off to your Mr Ramanayake.
