So why start bloggin anyway?

Well things in my little island are moving at an brisk pace of late. It's become nearly impossible to keep up with a traditional little old website. My site on Sri Lanka hardly sees an update at the best of times (but did you know that it has over 110 pages about Sri Lanka?)
Let's see if this ship can go any faster than my battered and bruised dingy.
