Sri Lanka It's Happening

If that holds true the management at the Ceylon Electricity Board should be out. We have had three black outs in three days in Colombo. Many other parts of the country have also been efffects. No explaination has been forthcoming. (which is normal for Sri Lankan government organizations)

It is interesting to note that more many years Sri Lanka operated with a part time minister of power and energy. This minister's day job was the deputy minister of defence! and during his reign the Central Bank and the Temple of the Tooth were attacked by terrorists.

Oh did I mention that there was a chronic shortage of electricity and we had daily (yes daily) power cuts for months on end because the supply couldn't meet with the demand?
