The daily mirror is the best out of a bad lot of Sri Lankan news papers. There are some columns that still make this journal worth reading such as the column by Gamini Akmeemana titled
Papa labours to explain to son what democratic ideal means.
Don't bother with the business pages they are nothing but press releases often published verbatim with out being edited.
