Sri Lanka It's Happening

There was this huge tree that provided a lot of shade less than 100 meters from my house. It was on a plot of state land and it's leaves were falling into the garden of one of my neighbours. Few weeks ago had arranged for this tree to be cut down!. That is a very typical reaction of the average Sri Lankan who only seems to have a single digit IQ.

Sri Lanka has produced a couple of rocket scientists and does have a lot of Intelligent people but they are a very small minority compared to the masses that are glued in front of their television sets watching tele-dramas. These people have double digit and at times even single digit IQs. It is this kind of people who carry out the sensless felling of trees that I have just described.

as a footnote: the wife of the scoundrel responsible for the felling of that tree was heard complaining about the extreme heat with another neighbour.
