Cricket :: Paying the price for being negative
March 12, 2004
Sri Lankan Cricket team has one of the most negative captains in the world. Couple of days back I wrote about how negative thinking let the aussies off the hook. Today at the time of writing australia is one the verge of winning a match that they should have lost.
Last time Sri Lanka played test cricket it was against England - one of the weakest teams in the game so Sri Lanka managed to win the three match series 1-0 with two being drawn. The two draws were due to lack of positive thinking on the part of the Sri Lankans however since the result was a series win the same captain was retained for this series with disastrous results.
