The Sri Lankan Government is planning to go ahead with a Hydro Electricity Project that will result in the Destruction of two beautiful water falls. The St Clair's and Devon.
The two water falls on the Kothmale Oya, are being hreatened by a proposed hydroelectric project. There is ample evidence to show that hydroelectricity is not the solution to Sri Lanka's energy needs. What's worse these is more evidence to show that the area where the Dam will be built is prone to earth slips. Yet the government is planning to go ahead with the project. Why?
